Puppy Party for the People with Local Pet Rescue
Puppy partygoers enjoyed snuggles with 10 mixed breed pups from one litter — probably blue heeler and Labrador retriever — who seemed to love the attention. A few people stayed for more than two hours!
Executive Director of One of a Kind Pet Rescue, Tanya Jonda and Acme Fence Owner, Donny Zigdon.
Acme Fence and partner One of a Kind Pet Rescue will work together throughout 2025 and 2026 to raise awareness of rescue dogs. The Prosecutor’s Office won today’s Puppy Party as the result of a promotional contest.
Guests also enjoyed custom sugar cookies from Luna Bakery & Cafe in Cleveland and said they looked like the Juvenile Court’s emotional comfort sheep dog, Tater. The court’s other support dog, Adam, a black Labrador retriever, made a surprise visit to the delight of many.
WKYC-TV3 also visited to film a segment for an upcoming episode of their family-friendly pet oriented show, “Ready, Pet, Go!” set to air on Christmas morning, December 25, 2024.
TV5 shared coverage of the event on their 7pm broadcast on 12/17 as well.
